Supplies

All necessary supplies for specimen collection within doctor’s offices will be provided by the laboratory at no charge. Supplies for most tests are similar with the exception of blood and fluid collection containers. The necesary paperwork needed for test request or Requisition Forms, will be provided as well and are to be properly filled with the correspondent demographic information.

Pick-Up

Our laboratory provides a convenient daily pick-up service at no charge.

Turnaround Time

Results for most procedures are available within 24 hours after pick-up. “STATS” test results for those that are considered life threatening will be available within 4 hours. Some tests could have a turnaround time of 3 to 5 days, depending of the laboratory’s need to send them out to another reference lab for additional testing.

Specimens Hold

It is the laboratory’s policy to hold blood specimen for 7 days in case any additional tests are needed or a request for a repeat testing should become necessary.

NOTE: This does not include urine or feces.

Home Phlebotomy

The laboratory offers phlebotomy services in a patient’s home, nursing homes or ALF’s at no additional charge. The turnaround time for this service is no more than 2 days after the requisition is received by our laboratory staff.

Our testing personnel are fully licensed by the state of Florida also with more than 20 years of experience, average per head.
